Demelza has toured Europe and played major festivals such as Latitude and The Great Escape. She has played an array of renowned UK venues that include several O2 Academies, the Garage London, and Brighton’s The Haunt, and Concorde 2. She has supported bands such as Xcerts, Demob Happy, Blood Red Shoes, Deap Valley and Tigercub, and has even made an appearance in NME Magazine. In 2017, her band Projector was selected as the first awardees of Festival Republic’s ‘Rebalance’ scheme, aimed at furthering female participation in the industry.

Demelza is also a passionate advocate for improving women’s experience in the music industry and has discussed such issues on panels and radio. Her documentary Mather explores how becoming a mother stimulated rather than suppressed Demelza’s ambition and talents. The video has had over 30k views to date.
