Since completing her Songwriting diploma, BIMM Music Institute London graduate Shébani has become a full-time musician and performer. She is also working on her debut album.
Shébani has amassed over one million streams on Anghami – the Middle East and North Africa region’s first legal streaming platform and digital distribution company specialising in Arabic and international music – and been featured in multiple international publications. These include the likes of Harper’s Bazaar, Gulf News, Scoop Empire, Arab News and Re-Volt, to name a few.
Shébani has supported the likes of Jorja Smith and Liam Payne and been named Grazia Middle East’s Emerging Talent Nominee. She’s also featured on some of Dubai’s most popular radio stations, such as Virgin Radio Dubai, Pulse Radio Sharjah and Dubai Eye Radio. Plus, she’s worked with some massive brands including Puma, Namshi and Bershka.
“BIMM was and still is one of my favourite places to be,” says Shébani of her time at BIMM.
“At the time, I was a new artist who had just started releasing music from Dubai and then moved across continents to explore the world of music in depth. BIMM not only provided that for me, but it also allowed me to grow as an artist, a songwriter and all-round human. I was forever changed, and I miss it so much! I’m thankful for all the friendships, teachings and confidence that BIMM gave me.”
Shébani is set to tour and release her latest body of work. We wish her the best of luck and hope that she keeps smashing it!
